Dr. Robert J. Still
EXPERTISE AND COMMITMENT
Robert J. Still, MD, specializes in mitral valve repair and replacement, aortic valve surgery, coronary artery revascularization, ascending and descending aortic aneurysm repair, abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, and surgery for carotid stenosis and peripheral vascular disease.
He offers surgical treatment of benign and malignant diseases of the lung, pleura, chest wall and mediastinum. Many of the procedures can be performed utilizing a minimally invasive technique known as video-assisted thoracic surgery. Dr. Still is also trained in TAVR procedures and performs robotic lung surgery.
Dr. Still joined Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgical Associates in July 1991. He returned to his hometown of Jacksonville after completing his fellowship training in cardiothoracic surgery at the Texas Heart Institute under the direction of the renowned Denton A. Cooley, MD.
